Checked in and getting ready to go!

Checked in online today for our flight, we leave on Thursday 21 May at 10:55pm.

We are flying with Qatar airways this year, this is the first time we've flown with Qatar, I've heard they are excellent, so am keen to witness this first hand.

It's been a long lead up to this trip, we booked our flights in August last year, but we've also been planning this trip for a long time, so we are excited that it is finally becoming reality.

It's been a big week for me, I finished work last Thursday and I participated in my first marathon on Sunday, the Great Ocean Road Marathon. So it's been an eventful week, very exciting and feeling like this holiday is well deserved after completing such a big event.

Our flight travels via Doha and Zagreb, before landing in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo looks amazing, with a Turkish influence and a strong Muslim culture, it will be bound to be an adventure from the start.

We are going to be travelling for almost 6 weeks! I will post a copy of the intinerary.

So, I plan on posting lots of pics and some details of our trip.
